The history appears that this venue started out as The Cloud Room per the ad in Oregon Journal was Oregon Journal February 8, 1944. However, per an article in the November 5, 1947 Oregon Journal Amato’s Night Club took it over until January 2, 1954, when Amato’s had moved to 706 SW Main Street but kept it as the Banquet Room. The venue that hosted Carroll and his revue - female impersonators per ad on July 10, 1957, was 620 W Broadway. By 1960 the HoTi Supper Club took over. More investigation needs to take place, but it is possible that the space later became ‘1008 SW Broadway’ and then the ‘Carriage Room’
