THE STORE aka The Jelly Bean
Per a phone conversation with Jeanne Breall, her clothing store was known as Jelly Bean, and when she shifted from **clothing to clothing and cards and later just cards, she called the store “The Store”. Because many people said, “What are you going to call the store?” She said, “I guess The Store is as good as any name. Well, it didn’t stick. Many people knew me as Jeannie the Jelly Bean and finally, I gave up and just allowed the name Jelly Bean to follow from clothing to cards.” Following are various ads.

1991 - Per a phone call with Jeannie Breall, owner, “Rent was raised, and we found a smaller, cheaper location on the other side of the street, half a block down and I took it. Dudley had to move to another location as well.”
04-15-1998 Jeannie sold the business to Cynthia Frost who owned the business until 04-16-2010 per Secretary of State of Oregon records. It is unclear but it appears that the business was moved from downtown to SE Portland.
