Cited in the article published in The City Open Press page 14 October 25-November 21, 1985: The Imperial Sovereign Rose Court of Oregon, states, “Empress XVI Doni Lame’ proclaimed the need, and “in search of a male image to counterpart the already long list of Empresses. In short, to seek and find an Emperor. It was about time the glamour element acquiesced in the need for an image other than drag. The scramble began in hopes of finding this lost and much needed image from amongst the epicedian masses. The year was 1973.”
