LGBTQ Community Collections (ohs.org) The Oregon Historical Society’s research library holds an extensive collection of manuscripts, photographs, publications, and oral histories that document the experiences and achievements of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) communities in the Pacific Northwest. This guide highlights a selection of those materials by format. Researchers are also encouraged to search the library catalog and consult with reference librarians for additional resources related to their specific research topic.

Gay and lesbian history collection - Archives West (orbiscascade.org) Materials regarding a variety of community, religious, and social service organizations supporting the gay and lesbian community of the Pacific Northwest (particularly Portland and the State of Oregon.)

OSU Queer Archives: LGBTQ+ ARCHIVAL REPOSITORIES Archival collections and materials that document LGBTQ+ histories at Oregon State University, Corvallis, and Benton County.

The Oregon State Historic Sites database - Per the City of Portland, September 24, 2024 “90 historic resources survey completed After a year of in-field documentation and research, documentation on 90 LGBTQ+ historic sites have been submitted for inclusion in the Oregon State Historic Sites database! While many of these resources had already been documented for their architectural merits, this is the first survey associated with LGBTQ+ history in the database! The information will be publicly available on the database soon.
