GUNNER LAKE
Gunners Lakes are a series of three small lakes (the largest is 10 acres) situated at 1500 feet elevation in a well-forested area. The lakes are well-known among fishermen and birders alike.

Where: Go 10.5 miles west on Scappoose-Vernonia Highway from Highway 30 in Scappoose until you reach the Nehalem Divide trailhead for the CZ Trail at Pisgah Home Road. Proceed 2.3 miles south on Pisgah Home Road and bear right. In another 0.5 miles, staying right, you will reach the first lake at 45.80568, -123.0585. Continue on this road to reach the middle, then the third and largest lake.
