Marlena’s Tavern Years: possibly 1977-1982? Not many mentions in Oregonian or Oregon Journal about Marlena’s – nothing from 1981-1983

Satyricon Years: 1983-2010 Per Satyricon’s Wikipedia page: Located in a building that had served as a horse stable in the early 1900s, the club's owner, George Touhouliotis, a former taxi driver who acquired Marlena's Tavern in 1983 founded Satyricon.

1984 to 2010. It was the longest-running punk venue in the western United States.

Demolition of the building began in July 2011 - The location of the original building is now home to the nonprofit Maybelle Center for Community and Macdonald West affordable apartments.
