Cascade AIDS Project is an organization based in Portland, Oregon, that provides advocacy and services for people living with AIDS in Oregon and southwest Washington, and educates the public about AIDS and AIDS prevention. Gay Monteverde volunteered at Cascade AIDS Project for six months before being hired in 1989.
